英国新金属乐队Lostprophets

90年中期以后，当金属摇滚走入了新的世代后，接连出现Korn、Linkin Park、Limp Bizkit等团，无不是挥舞着Nu-Metal旗帜，将Metal乐带入另一波的高潮！但是放眼望去居于此挂的乐团，几乎清一色皆来自美国，现在要向大家介绍这组完完全全来自英国，却流着相当美式的新金属乐风，也没有浓厚英国腔调或雌雄莫辨嗓音的Lostprophets，将由英国出发，直扑美国本土与延伸摇滚版图至全球摇滚市场！成军于1997年威尔斯海港加地夫，当地下独立乐团Public Disturbance公布解散分道扬镳之始，团中吉他手Mike Lewis与鼓手Ian Watkins开始着手创立新团，对外陆续招募了新成员：第二吉他手Lee Glaze及鼓手Mike Chi

时隔两年，Lostprophets携第三张专辑《Liberation Transmission》卷土重来。

从前是谁跟我说两个LP,Lostprophets比Linkin park强多了，假如你听过Lostprophets 04年的那张Start Something就会觉得这话很有道理。在01年的The Fake Sound Of Progress里还有刮碟和浓重的new metal影子，到了04年他们就成了彻底的EMO(emotional guided hardcore punk)，而且因为来自英国，所以比其他EMO乐队更富有旋律性。

相比后摇那种“平静－爆破－平静－爆破”式的inside世界，这是一种持续的爆破体系，从第一个音符开始。喜欢Lostprophets血脉喷张的straight-out，Ian肆无忌惮的标志性唱腔。还记得阵阵躁音吉他，在Ian声嘶力竭的一声令下－－“Go!!”，划开狂放愤怒的金属气势，失序的声音频率夹杂流畅多变的旋律直奔听觉神经的情景吗。难以相信30岁的他们居然还是布满如此强有力的朋克精神，但是通过4 am forever，又能看出他们和Yellowcard,goodcharlotte的不同，少了一些青涩，多了一份成熟大气。

深夜看完世界杯的一场又一场大屠杀，空气里弥漫着激情，燥热，雄性力量和酒精，混合着荷尔蒙和血腥，而围绕耳边的始终是Lostprophets的Rooftops，仿佛只有这种音乐才是最适合在现在听的。
